The Third Phoenix Fetal Cardiology Symposium will be taught by nationally and internationally prominent experts.

This four-day symposium will feature lectures, procedures, demonstrations, question and answer sessions, and interactive case studies focusing on expanding evidence-based care management strategies relevant to clinical practice decision making.

This symposium is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of:

  • the uniqueness of the fetal cardiovascular system,
  • its normal and abnormal embryonic development,
  • echocardiographic imaging of the normal and abnormal fetal heart,
  • morphologic diagnosis and manifestations of simple and complex fetal cardiac disorders,
  • genetics of fetal cardiac disorders,
  • diagnosis and therapy of fetal arrhythmias,
  • history and impact of fetal cardiac intervention,
  • extracardiac fetal and maternal disorders that affect the heart,
  • neonatal catheterization and surgical interventions
  • and management of the mother and family of the unborn child with heart disease.
