Pre-Conference Schedule for Friday, November 2

The 9th Phoenix Fetal Cardiology Symposium is a four-day conference will discuss important concepts in congenital heart disease as well as the most recent advances in imaging, diagnosis and management of fetal cardiac abnormalities.

Three pre-conference tracks offered on Friday, November 2, 2018 include Essentials of Fetal Cardiac Screening, Fetal and Neonatal Cardiac Specimen and Echo Correlation, and Fetal Nurse Coordinator Collaborative.


1. Essentials of Fetal Cardiac Screening (Registration is Limited)

8:10 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Overview of Performing a Fetal Echo: Live Scan (Quintana & Davis)
8:45 a.m. – 10 a.m. Hands-On: Biometry, Extracardiac Doppler, Cardiac Position/Situs, and Four Chamber View
10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.  BREAK
10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. Hands-On: Long Axis and Short Axis Views and Outflow Tracts
11:15 a.m. – Noon Hands-On: 3 Vessel View/3 Vessel Tracheal View and Sagittal View
Noon – 1 p.m.  LUNCH
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Hands-On: Rhythm and Functional Assessment
2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Hands-On: Review/Practice of Fetal Cardiac Screening and Questions
